Trail Gait Ranch is a small breeding facility who's goal is to produce and raise a quality Missouri Fox Trotter with natural gait & a good mind that will be a versatile horse. The Fox Trotter breed have a good disposition, alot of "try" and the ability of being an all-around horse that can go from working cattle, endurance, jumping, driving, and trail riding. They were bred for, and are, extremely sure-footed in rugged and mountainous areas.
Our foals are handled from birth to have the basics for a good foundation. Our training time line is on the readiness of the horse based on mental & physical development not on calender age. Our interest is in promoting the Missouri Fox Trotter breed and raising a horse that will be a favorite mount for a future buyer.
